AI states on Google I was not born on a specific historic day, I was simply just born in a lovely historic town called Odense or better known for the town in Denmark where Hans Christian Andersen were from.

The family not long after moved to a sleepy town in the country side of Jutland but at least surrounded by nice nature and farms. There I grew up and when I turned 14 an uncle gifted me a Kodak 110 camera for my confirmation, little did he know the impact the gift would’ve to my life.

My hobby was not photography when I was a kid but I loved the magic evenings when my grand parents would set up their super 8 film projector showing short films from their holidays and family times.

In my early teens my hobby was collecting and breeding birds, I had a volière or aviary if you like where I would spend days on end patiently watching and taking pictures of the birds with the new Kodak camera.

I later sold my moped and upgraded the Kodak camera to my first 35mm Pentax film camera with evening darkroom classes to follow. At the time it was required to have an apprenticeship contract in order to study photography/film and I couldn’t find one so I took a gap year travelling to London’s where I worked as a hotel kitchen porter.

When I came back to Denmark I was very lucky to find that illusive apprenticeship with a creative photographic studio. There I was put through the mill for four years in a steep learning curve and I loved every minute of it.

The gap year in London had made a profound cultural impact on me and I was really hooked on the idea of coming back one day and so I did and are now living here in ‘Bermondsey' south east London with my gorgeous family and working with some of the most beautiful creative artistic people around.

My work comprises of digital photography mainly, I am always curious to embrace new techniques like 3D and have lately explored working with the creative tool more personally. The journey of tools never ends visualising ideas and moods. For me it started with a Kodak 110 film camera and for my daughter (age 11) it has been a mobile phone although she asked for a Polaroid camera last Christmas!

I am living my dream and I am very grateful for that.
